Lease Asset Management Services for DHL Airways
DHL, an international document and package transportation company based in
San Francisco, California, needed to proactively negotiate and manage their
leased assets. With shipping offices and staging areas throughout the United
States DHL needed someone who could assist with managing these assets,
and work with DHL personnel to locate appropriate space, negotiate leases,
and manage the facility build out process in compliance with DHL standards.
To assist DHL with these tasks, NSI supplied an experienced Senior Real Estate
Negotiator to work with DHL Real Estate staff. Working from NSI's corporate
offices in Huntington Woods, Michigan, this negotiator was able to help DHL
more effectively manage and control their leased assets and capital costs.
This negotiator was also able to help them to proactively deal with facility
issues and legal situations as they arose.
As a result of NSI's efforts, DHL's portfolio is more closely aligned with
current corporate needs and requirements. DHL, rather than carrying additional
leased space, has been able, with the help of NSI personnel, to reduce space
when necessary, expand where required, and more effectively monitor lease
costs and charges.
