Meet NSI's Executive Team

Mr. O’Neill holds vast expertise in managing real estate strategic planning, project oversight, joint venture structuring/supervision, outside legal counsel supervision, financial analysis, acquisition and disposition of real estate assets, asset management, and lease negotiation. He was the managing general partner in over 20 private limited partnerships or limited liability companies. Mr. O’Neill holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point in New York and a Juris Doctor degree from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. He is also a member of the State Bar of Michigan.

Mr. Schira has served as the President of NSI since 2006, building on his previous experience supervising the acquisition of cell phone tower sites at MetroPCS and LCC International. He has also worked in private law practice and facility management with the City of Dearborn Heights. He holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law and is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and the Federal Bar. Mr. Schira earned a Bachelor of Arts in English and Philosophy from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Mr. Davis brings extensive experience in energy and infrastructure real estate, renewable energy, and corporate sustainability. Before his current position, he specialized in selling investment properties for CBRE and Cushman & Wakefield. He also held positions with leading companies such as Schneider Electric Energy and Sustainability Services and 3Degrees Renewable Energy & Climate Services. Mr. Davis served as the President of NSI from 2004 to 2006. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from Michigan State University and an MBA from the Eli Broad Graduate School of Management, Michigan State University in East Lansing.

Mr. Turner’s extensive expertise in corporate law and general civil litigation has been an asset to NSI clients in lease negotiations and transfers of corporate real estate assets. He also specializes in computer systems and software and their application to real estate and law. He is skilled in internet systems and software, HTML programming, and site design for internet and intranet applications. Mr. Turner holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Michigan and a Juris Doctor from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. He is licensed to practice law in Michigan and Colorado.

Mr. Coughlin’s extensive background in the real estate industry and experience working with large pipeline companies make him an asset to the NSI Land Services team. Before joining the organization in 2019, he worked in the oil and gas industry for 10 years. He has led the acquisition, construction, and completion of two FERC-sanctioned pipelines that stretched over several hundred miles. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and an MBA from Carson-Newman University.

Mr. Bauer is responsible for managing various pipeline right-of-way and oil and gas lease brokerage projects for NSI Land Services clients in every oil and gas-producing basin across the country. His over 30 years of experience and knowledge of managing large-scale projects have provided his clients with superior leasehold positions in their areas of interest. Before joining the NSI Land Services team, Mr. Bauer served as VP of Business Development and Project management for a competing land services firm. He also held upper management positions responsible for managing the deployment of large wireless telecommunication market launches throughout the Midwest and Southeast regions for carriers like Nextel, Sprint, AT&T Wireless, MetroPCS, and T-Mobile. Mr. Bauer attended the University of Michigan.
